What is a S60 Cert Key?
More and more developers are openly providing unsigned beta applications on their sites. Examples are RotateMe, NokMote, and FExplorer. For this reason it is best to have a Developer Cert & Key so there are no restrictions on your phone thus enabling you to install unsigned Apps & Games.
How do I get a certificate and key for my S60 handset?
Once registered you can enter your IMEI number to process your request for a Cert and Key to be generated for your S60 3rd & 5th Edition Mobile Phone. Once your cert and key is ready for download, you will recieve an email informing you of this.
How long does it take for my cert and key to be generated?
Normally you should expect your Cert and Key to be generated within 24hrs though sometimes this can be even quicker.
What Certs do you provide and for how long?
We provide Dev 17 Certs with full capabilities. They are valid for 3yrs from generation date.
Signing & Support
Signtools2.2 must be used when signing apps with your Cert & Key. Other signing apps will not work as our Certs and Keys are coded.
